Sometimes we just need to tell ourselves STOP.....
As a developer we can spend a lot of time making something very cool and we can get hung up on making things interactive. When developing eLearning we are also responsible to look at the return on investment (ROI). From an ROI standpoint we also need to look at what is the ROI on this certain training and is it worth spending time in development.
We might not want to put together a PowerPoint on steroids or even just load a PowerPoint in the Learning Center (YUCK!). But if the outcome of the project is just simple awareness or it is a small group the ROI for the time to make something really cool might not be worth it.
